Fancy joining a thriving new research-led School of Education? We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Education to join our growing team at Swansea University, to further augment our research and policy expertise (including contributing to a future REF submission in the Education UoA), as well as contribute to our expanding learning and teaching provision.
Swansea University School of Education (SUSE), part of the College of Arts & Humanities based at the Singleton Campus, has already launched an innovative suite of research-led programmes in Education at undergraduate level, with new postgraduate programmes coming (both taught and research).
SUSE is now making a series of strategic appointments across all grades. For the post of Senior Lecturer in Education (Enhanced Research Academic Career Pathway, £40,792–£48,677 p.a. + USS benefits), we welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates with research and teaching expertise in the field. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with interests in one or more of the following areas:
- digital literacy
- STEM education
Candidates with expertise in initial teacher education are also encouraged to apply for this post; it is expected the post holder will take over the leadership of our successful undergraduate BA programme portfolio. I would be very interested to hear from candidates with interests and experience across STEM education and/or digital pedagogies/practice, as you will be working closely with me!
Deadline for applications: 11pm, Wednesday 14 November 2018, via the Swansea University online jobs portal (with interviews scheduled to take place in the week commencing 10 December 2018). For further information please contact my colleague Dr Michelle Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org), Deputy Head of SUSE.
