The Institute of Welsh Affairs has today published its Our Smart Region report, which explores how the Cardiff Capital Region City Deal could use smart technology to improve the lives of the people who live and work in the CCR, as well as strengthening the region’s economy.
With funding and support from Arup, BT, Cardiff University, Centrica, Microsoft, Next Generation Data and The Open University, the report is a key output of the IWA’s Smart Region project, and proposes six steps to accelerate the introduction of smart technological approaches and to move the CCR towards becoming a smart region.
